An Eye to Traffic Exchange Security Threats

Frame-Breakers, unwanted pop-ups and viruses are a few of the problems facing Traffic Exchange owners that can seriously damage their online business.

Maintaining a healthy surf arena is of paramount importance to Exchange owners since experience has shown that unwanted delays caused by malicious content if not eliminated will eventually force surfers to go elsewhere.

The introduction of protective software is one option although protective software generally operates in retro-fashion i.e. a bug has to be born before a cure can be found. That said there are now lots of Traffic Exchanges
promoting their use of security software. Some to the detriment of the surfing experience. Much the same as air travel has had to introduce increased security to prevent any of us being blown up or high-jacked. A consequence of increasing security no matter what the environment, generally means a slowing down of the mechanisms in place. In the case of Traffic Exchanges it usually means
a security number to install on a box whilst surfing or an icon to click on a security page. Security page clicks are commonly counted so the surfer does not lose out against the clock, but this is not the case with a security box number which may only take moments to key in, but moments
whilst surfing are precious.

Some Exchange owners have gone as far as to compile a list of sites that they have identified as harmful to the surfing experience of their members.

As the Internet community becomes more proficient and earning potentials flourish the necessity for Traffic Exchanges to do even more in regards security will become yet another area of development.
